Bulgarian Trade Promotion Agency
 
ulgarian Trade Promotion Agency (BTPA) was established on January 1st 2002. BTPA is an administration with the Minister of Economy and is responsible for the organization and coordination of the activities of state bodies, public organizations, non-profit associations, municipalities and other legal bodies in the field of trade promotion.
BTPA combines the traditions of the institute of Trade (established in 1963) and the experience of BEPC (1997) at the Ministry of Economy. BTPA's major goal is implication of government's priorities in the field of international trade relations by:
  • Support of Bulgarian companies for realization of Bulgarian products and services on foreign markets;
  • Support to competitive sectors and products and their promotion among foreign partners;
All services are free of charge and available after registration with BTPA at http://www.btpa.bg/
BTPA does have more than 3000 Bulgarian and 2000 foreign partners and clients among which are:
  • Bulgarian and foreign organizations and companies;
  • Business organizations in Bulgaria, including branch unions and associations;
  • International organizations for trade promotion;
  • Banks and financial institutions
  • Diplomatic missions and trade representations
